Wokism relies heavily on deliberate misunderstanding and mischaracterization of the things it’s trying to eliminate, which includes the classic liberalism that you advocate. It uses the playbook of saying untrue but truthy-sounding things that make people feel good about being against something, and no amount of truth will ever stop the woke from disingenuously making you out for something other than what you are to serve that narrative.
The answer is to continue to hold the line of good-faith truth seeking and actual progress in the face of the woke onslaught. Just doing that gives those of us who think like you do an anchor point, and those who haven’t fully succumbed to the group think an inoculation against the viral nature of the postmodern critical theory thinking.
