Thanks for the text. One of the best readings for me is about the topics you are describing. I think you should try to pitch it to The Unpopulist

Restraining order? I'm getting worried. Are you taking away a world that you opened up to me? What about Consensus? This is too big a country for a breakup? Some kind of mutual co-existence is the only way. I agree that the New Right is Trump or more like Triumphalism as combining Trump +New Right = Nigel Farange on top of some kind of Monarchical Conservatism! .... But people who disagree cant co-exist? Or can? Give me a reason for hope? The main reason I have been following you is that you have been my salvation. A rare voice for hope in a world I grew up in. A split family dynamic, which the only way I have survived is to hurl myself between, dispute, and Consensus type thought. But to break up doesn't seem like Consensus? I know you talk in very mindfully intelligent cognitive ways. But yet are you gonna break my heart too?

The 'restraining order' part was only a metaphor, and a very exaggerated one really. It was intended as a follow-up to my previous post (from two years ago) talking about the 'divorce' between the classical liberal and New Right wings of the anti-woke movement. That post was a response to some stuff Christopher Rufo said back then, which I was quite upset about. What I wanted to say was that, classical liberals shouldn't see the New Right as allies in any way, period.

I read the link..its interesting and comparing China revolution to America etc. But trying to stay on point here with Tara writing about classical liberals, is that it's difficult to find any friendship between classical liberals and the New Right. The only thing I would like to add or amend is that there aren't too many classical Liberals classical anymore. Seems like the world has abandoned Classical Liberal and Classical Right or old Right. The new Right ain't taking no prisoners but im not sure the new Liberals aren't either.. I do remember a day when classical Liberals and classical conservatives where a pretty cool classy class of people.. We can get it back..we just have to reconcile this moment with recognizing the other and not canceling the other out. I try to ask people instead of tell people. For instance," I m gonna try to see your point of you, can you try to see mine? How can we,or what elements of this disagreement can we identify which can be side-barred so that ultimatley we can find a working consensus? together?
